Yes there is a problem with the program. I tried to fix it throught the link on the e-mail but still it won't work.

Vista Incompatibility I have tried to install oRipa MSN Webcam Recorder, but it does not work under Vista Ultimate.It fails to create the recorder, and then the application's control appears, but does nothing - obviously because there is no recorder app for it to control.I have no idea if oRipa will correct thisproblem, but I hope so, as the previous version that I ran on my XP machine was pretty good.The best feature being that it is NOT a screen image recorder, but actually captures the streaming webcam data itself, meaning that recording can go on in the background ...

Decent first use, not enough trial time Decent results after I figured out how to get past the trial information screens. There was not enough time (60 seconds) in trial version to properly evaluate the software or explore it's features.I'm not sure that my anticipated amount of usage would justify the cost.It looks like a pretty cool toy though.

Very nice piece of work. It loaded, it worked, it saved as expected right off -- without having the manual. This will be ideal for someone who needs a foolproof way to capture a video for immediate use on the web.

I have tried it on my laptop 1.8 ghz, but Debut VC is so slow. Using the webcam, I get about 15 fps but using device (a hooked vcr), I only get 1-2 fps. I did not hear any sound also. I am not sure whether it\'s Debut VC or my laptop that is not working correctly. For some reason I could not achieve a recording with sound. I am using Windows 7 and have had no problems with sound on anything else. I followed all the troubleshooting tips but to no avail. I have therefore had to uninstall it and use another, albeit somethat inferior, program.

It worked fine for my 2 applications that need to run together.They were:1. Using WebCamXP to make the camera stream available on the internet.2. Using my own OpenCV program to analyse the video stream and calculate the optical flow.It would be nice if WebSplitter Pro could also do the job that WebCamXP is doing for me, so that I need fewer 3rd party components.

Trying to solve a problem I have a dv6573cl hp laptop that has quick play on it with windows vista ultimate os. The laptop has a built in webcam, and this is the problem. If I restart the computer and click on Quick play the webcam works. If I start msn live instant messenger and chose webcam splitter the camera works but there is no way to chose the camera for quick play and once you use it in another program the hpwebcam can not be used without a restart. dissappointed I downloaded the trial to see if it would be compatible with my canon powershot S400, and it was, but then when I went to register my version, it wouldn't let me get past the screen that asks you for "Owner Name Setting" - which my camera doesn't have! So this product, while could be quite useful, I cannot use at all!

I couldn\'t work out how to open more than one Video feed at the same time. Also, when monitoring, it keeps loosing colour. this may be due to it being in trial mode, but there was nothing telling me that. Opinion Well, it was difficult for me to make it to work after installing, but it worked then after turning my pc of. It wouldn't work again so I have downloaded the other on the camsplitter pro. So I will see how that one works

Great Piece of Software! This is great, I have been testing it and it works wonderfully - we have two cats who make great test subjects. However, having the cats, I found it best NOT to monitor for sound. They set the thing off constantly. We live in an apartment and will be monitoring for any unauthorized entry into our unit. Great software This is one of the easiest programs to get running. Setting up a streaming video from a webcam was a snap.

i like your product but i am having trouble trying to run video in arcive from a remote computer.i want to be able to go back through the day and play back video of that day on a remote computer and deleat it if there was no movement.if you could help please dont hesatatethank you

Software did not work After download it would say it needed some other application to open to press next, pressed next and nothing would happen. Tried it several times and never got the software to start. It was a disappointment.
